Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati is the head of Dasna Devi temple near Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh (UP). He was ordained as the Mahamandaleshwar of Juna Akhara, the largest recognised sect of Hindu seers in the country.

He has received serious threats from Islamists for his strong views against ongoing religious conversions in India. He has been hounded and persecuted for facilitating the Ghar Wapsi of Dr Wwasim Rizvi. He is the second to be arrested in the case after Wasim Rizvi alias Jitendra Tyagi was nabbed by the police for speaking forcefully against Islam in a gathering of Hindu seers . Yati Narsinghanand was picked up by the police in Haridwar while he was sitting on a dharna in protest against the arrest of Jitendra Tyagi.
