The Indian republic is saddled with a madness that, if not curbed by loyal institutions, can rapidly convert democracy into communism. Amid the ongoing friction between the judiciary and the executive, Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju endorsed the view of a former High Court judge who commented that the Supreme Court ‘hijacked’ the Constitution.
