Born on January 5, 1941 in Pākpattan, Montgomery District, West Punjab (Akhand Bharat), Shri Krishnanand Sagar himself has seen and experienced the horrors of the partition of India. He is an eyewitness to many events of that period. He completed matriculation from Mahoba (Bundelkhand, UP) in 1954 and Dharamsala (HP) in 1960. From 1958 to 1978, he was a Pracharak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Delhi.
