Live-in relationships outside the fold of matrimony are as old as human history. However, in recent decades, under influence of western feminism, they have come to undermine and sabotage the very institution of marriage in India. In a typically WOKE judgement, the Supreme Court of india took the liberty to provide legal legitimacy to live-in relationships at par with marriage. In 2006, in the case of “Lata Singh v. State of U.P,” it was held that a live-in relationship between two consenting adults of opposite sex, though perceived as immoral, does not amount to any offence under the law. But has the law been able to look past this, and identify the issues that arise from such relationships, especially the dark agenda of the conversion mafia? In this video, we look at live-in relationships through a different lens, and understand the male perspective on it.
